Description
Small, sociable, arboreal passerines, with white, feathery eye-rings. They are generally gregarius when not breeding, but ranges of species do not overlap.
They are principally arboreal omnivores, feeding on invertebrates, fruit and nectar. Insects generally dominate the diet, these are primarily gleaned from leaves and branches, but occasionally also by hawking.
They are monogamous. The nest is a small, neat cup, placed in leafy foilageof a tree or bush. They lay clutches of 2 - 3 plain blue or white eggs. Incubation and care of the nestlings is done by both adults.
