Egyptian Geese form monogamous pairs and are known to mate for life. Breeding can occur year-round.They are known for their aggressive territorial behaviour. Especially when breeding they can be very agressive to other Egyptian geese or other waterfowl. They frequently pursie intruders intu the air.
Neighbouring pairs may even kill another's offspring for their own offsprings' survival, as well as for more resources.
