Cape dwarf gecko

Appearance
A large dwarf gecko. The throat is usually stippled with grey or dark brown, and the belly is cream. The back is grey-brown, with a dark streak from the snout to the shoulder that sometimes extends onto the flank, and a pale dorsal band that may break up into a series of spots towards the tail

Habitat
Well-wooded, savanna and sub-tropical thicket
These geckos prefer to forage in low scrub and on dead trees, but also tolerate urban situations
