Namib web-footed gecko (Palmato gecko, Transparent gecko)

Appearance
Body slender, semi-transparent. Flat head, swollen nostrils, large, jewel-like eyes. Thin feet, webbed toes, short, unsegmented tail. Back flesh-pink with dark reticulation, belly white. Spends day in tunnel dug in fine sand, emerging at night to feed on crickets, spiders. Clutches of two large, hard-shelled eggs laid November to March.

Habitat
Wind-blown sands of Namib Desert.
